I looked at Marconi Site and the paths around it and also local built form. The site has the potential to be a landmark for the town and also a connection between railway station, ARU and High Street. Based on the bright history of the site, and considering different layers of geology, landform, land use, history and the like, there are many aspects of development. And on the other hand, the site's lighting problem- as it is been dark for 3 years to say the least- provides the potential of creating innovative lighting on paths and new buildings on site, as I'm going to remove most derelict buildings of site. So I think light spectrum shows this issue clearly, as follows:
the white light (the current situartion of the site), by passing through a prism (design process?!) can be seen in different colours (different layers of identity of the site after designing the masterplan).
Moreover I looked at some pshychological aspects of colours and lights. As i said before, I looked at some artists' works, Dan Falvin, Tadao Ando, Anish Kapoor, Olafur Eliasson, Carl Bernardini, James Turrel and Martha Shwartz, to name a few.
